Continue your safari to Samburu National Reserve, home to the rare “Special Five” animals, and enjoy game drives in both Samburu and Buffalo Springs reserves. This tour offers a mix of iconic parks, stunning landscapes, and extraordinary wildlife encounters.

Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve
Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your airport or hotel around 7:00 AM. Depart for Masai Mara National Reserve, a scenic 6-hour journey. Along the way, stop at The Great Rift Valley viewpoint to capture stunning photographs of the escarpment. Continue your journey to Mara Sopa Lodge, arriving in time for a delicious lunch. After a short rest, embark on an evening game drive across the vast plains, where you'll have the chance to spot lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, gazelles, zebras, and warthogs. Return to Mara Sopa Lodge for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve
Start your day with breakfast before heading out for a full-day game drive in Masai Mara, with a packed lunch provided. The morning drive is ideal for spotting wildlife, including nocturnal animals. Take a break for a picnic lunch by the Hippo Pool, where you can watch hippos and crocodiles. Continue exploring the reserve and enjoy bird watching. In the evening, return to Mara Sopa Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
For early risers, an optional early morning game drive or balloon safari is available. After breakfast, check out of your lodge and begin the drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Stop briefly in Narok town to observe local life before continuing to Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, explore the park, starting with the famous rhino sanctuary, home to both black and white rhinos. Visit the "pink lake" to admire the flamingos and take in the park's beautiful scenery. Other wildlife includes hyenas, Rothschild giraffes, buffalo, gazelles, and common zebras. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, check out and travel to Samburu National Reserve in Kenya's northern arid region. Upon arrival at Samburu Sopa Lodge, enjoy lunch and some rest. In the evening, go on a game drive to explore the reserve and search for the unique wildlife, including the "Special Five" (Grevy's zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, and gerenuk). Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
Day 5: Full Day at Buffalo Springs National Reserve
Start your day early with a game drive in Samburu National Reserve, then return for breakfast and check out. Head to Buffalo Springs National Reserve, which is separated from Samburu by the Ewaso Nyiro River. During your visit, look out for wildlife such as Somali ostrich, gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, lions, and elephants. After lunch and some relaxation at the lodge, head out for an evening game drive to explore the reserve further. Return to Samburu Sopa Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Samburu National Reserve to Nairobi
Start your day early with a game drive in Samburu National Reserve, then return for breakfast and check out. Head to Buffalo Springs National Reserve, which is separated from Samburu by the Ewaso Nyiro River.
